I've made a good contact with Michael Bell of Bell Event Services. I'll be working for him the weekend of June 11th, 2010 at the Palos Verdes Street Fair. Hopefully I'll pass the mustard with he and his crew and be invited to join them for other gigs. I'll then be flying back to Tennessee to once again work at the Summer Solstice Celebration in Red Boiling Springs. That's a huge event with two days packed with both acoustic and electic music. Last year's event was capped wtih an all-star band that incuded great players who were from bands such as Pure Prairie League and the Rolling Stones. This event is the weekend after Bonnaroo and many folks from that event have made this one a regular stop on their journey. Bluebird Bells CD "Ringing for Peace" is done! The Bluebird Bells Christmas CD titled Ringing For Peace is available online at the Bluebird Cafe's web site store. The CD has 18 songs, including "The Holly and the Ivy", "My Grown Up Christmas List", "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch" and even an original Chanukah song that is sure to lift your spirits. For each CD sold, we will be making a donation to The Wounded Warrior Project to help soldiers injured in battle.
You can check out the Bells' myspace page at www.myspace.com/bluebirdbells for show updates and new songs to be posted next season!
Great for re stringing or working on your guitar, bass or other string instrument! My first batch has sold out and I'm almost done with a new batch. They are hand made out of Red Oak for a sturdy support. Stained and finished with a hand-rubbed polyurethane for toughness. Non-marking foam rubber cap keeps the neck from getting marred up. Rubber feet on the bottom insure they don't move while working on your guitar.
Enhanced CD's Add videos, pictures, and other information to display on a PC computer AND have your songs play on a typical CD player. Check out more info by clicking MULTI-MEDIA. Chirpings from "The Bluebird Cafe" Amy Kurland, after 25 years of building one of Nashville's finest musical institutions, has turned control of the club over to the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) as of January 1, 2008. It's a wonderful fit for the club that has dedicated itself to songwriters worldwide. Not much is planned to change and so far it's business as usual at The 'Bird. Don't forget all reservations are now done online through the Bluebird's web site. Current shows are listed at BluebirdCafe.com.
